Spaghetti With Scallops And A Creamy Sweet Onion Sauce

I made this quick dinner in about a half hour last night and it was super tasty! I often make my own pasta but last night I just wanted to keep it simple and boxed spaghetti worked just great.

Spaghetti With Scallops and a Creamy Sweet Onion Sauce:

In sauce pot cook on low heat for 15 minutes:

2 chopped onions
3 cloves chopped garlic
3 tbsp butter
2 sprigs of time
1 tspn salt
Ground pepper (about 5 or 6 twists on the grinder)

Add 2 tbsp flour, stir well and cook for another 3 minutes

Add 1 cup of milk and cook for another 10 minutes on med heat stirring often

While the sauce cooks get your pasta on and in the last 5 minutes heat up a fry pan on med-high heat with butter and chopped garlic. Make sure you rinse and dry your scallops ( this way they fry not stew), then cook them for just a few minutes in the hot fry pan

Drain pasta and mix in sauce

Serve with fresh basil and grated Parmesan
